8. DEAL WITH EXPECTATIONS

 

It is helpful to ask your children what they expect about returning to school. Your children can have goals of making new friends for the academic year or always having to prepare for the next day's lesson. So as a parent teach your child to expect anything from returning back to school. Remind them that it's okay to be nervous and that teachers will be there to help them feel comfortable.
